Samsung is working hard to bring the sweet joy of Android 12 to its smartphones in the form of One UI 4. After seeding the latest iteration of One UI for its current and older flagships, the Korean OEM has started updating the mid-rangers one by one. Ahead of the previously scheduled time, Samsung is rolling out the stable Android 12 update for the Galaxy A72. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite has also picked up its One UI 4 update.
According to a report by SamMobile, the Galaxy A72 has started receiving stable One UI 4.0 android 12 based updates in Russia. Galaxy users will get a new software update that comes with firmware version A725FXXU4BULA, and Dec 2021 security patch.
Russian users might have already received the update notification. If you haven’t received it yet, you can go to Settings » Software update and tap on Download and install. You can also download a firmware file from the Samsung firmware database and flash it manually.
One UI 4.0 brings a new UI design, complete with a color palette feature inspired by Google’s Material you feature. It also brings new widgets, its designs, and its picker UI.
It also brings better privacy and security. This privacy indicator shows when an app is using the phone’s camera or microphone.
Samsung’s Android 12 update you will see improved stock apps including Samsung Internet, Samsung Health, and Samsung Keyboard.
